Dansk IT collects personal information via the website. Whether you are a guest on our website or a member of Dansk IT, we always collect and process personal information in accordance with applicable legislation and guidelines.

When you are a guest on dit.dk or when you submit personal data to Dansk IT in writing, by personal contact or by using digital services, you also accept our personal data policy.
Dansk IT strives to ensure the greatest possible transparency in relation to the collection and use of personal data.

Use of personal information

Personally identifiable information is only provided to third parties if necessary in order to provide the service or activity to which the data subject has signed up for. The information will only be used by third parties for the specific purpose. We never collect personally identifiable information without you giving us this information when registering, purchasing or participating in a survey, etc.

Personal information is used to complete the purchase or service for which the information was collected. In addition, the information is used to gain greater knowledge of you and other users of the website. This use can i.a. include surveys and analytics aimed at improving our products, services and technologies, as well as displaying content tailored to your interests.

When you sign up for our newsletters and accept to receive other marketinginformations, we collect your name and email address as well as your preferences.

Dansk IT collects data via the following channels

E-mails sent to the joint-mailbox or employees at Dansk IT

Purpose: Dialogue with members and non-members.

Registration forms​

Purpose: Registration of participation in courses, certifications, conferences, meetings, etc.

Tracking and statistics

Via website (including Google Analytics), newsletters, social media, online surveys and online advertising
Purpose: Operation and optimization of Dansk IT's digital services.

Member management

Purpose: The membership system is used to service our members and the daily operation of the association. We collect for example name, job title, e-mail address, billing address, place of work, phone number, gender, age and areas of interest.

Certificates

Purpose: We collect and store data on certifications in order to be able to document who has which certifications for e.g. to be able to reissue certificates as well as target information to the candidates who have accepted further communication.

Diploma

Dansk IT collaborates with DiplomaSafe on the issuance of digital diplomas and diplomas for Dansk IT Arkitektur Certification. This means, that diplomas issued by Dansk IT after 01.08.2018 can be verified online at DiplomaSafe. You can read DiplomaSafe's privacy statement here. Data storage

Dansk IT always stores data in a secure manner. We store your personal information with limited access, which is located in controlled facilities, and our security measures are continuously checked to determine whether our user information is handled properly and while still taking into account your rights as a user.

Who can access data?

Data can only be accessed by employees of Dansk IT and is only shared with third parties to the extent necessary to service the individual data subject. In those cases, Dansk IT has entered into data processing agreements.

When you register for an event, you also give permission for your name, title, and place of work to appear on a list of participants, which will be available to all participants for that event. The list of participants will be deleted one week after the event.

When you join a network, committee, professional council, or a working group in Dansk IT, you also give permission for your name, title, e-mail, and workplace to be shared internally in the group / network. The purpose is to convene meetings and strengthen the cooperation and dialogue in the group.

Deletion of personal data

Your personal information will be deleted when we no longer need to process it for the purpose. However, statistical data can be processed and stored longer in anonymized form.

Insight and complaint

You have the right to be informed of which of your personal information Dansk IT stores. If the information is incorrect, you have the right to have it corrected. Finally, you have the right to have information about you deleted from Dansk IT, if this information is no longer relevant.
