Ross Anderson

Ross Anderson is Professor of Security Engineering at Cambridge University. He was one of the founders of security economics, and has also made many engineering contributions, having been a pioneer of peer-to-peer systems, hardware tamper-resistance, copyright marking and API security. He is the Principal Investigator for the Cambridge Cybercrime Centre. He wrote the definitive textbook "Security Engineering -- A Guide to Building Dependable Distributed Systems" and has been elected to both the Royal Society and the Royal Academy of Engineering.
